About the Conference

This conference promotes dialogues on Bharat’s multidimensional traditional knowledge systems and integrates them into contemporary society. It serves as a platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and academicians to engage in discussions on Bharatiya traditional wisdom — encompassing Ayurveda, Yoga, Vedic Mathematics, Architecture, indigenous sciences, Philosophy, Arts, Linguistics, and sustainable living practices.

The event highlights the significance of traditional knowledge in addressing modern challenges, promoting holistic well-being, and contributing to scientific and technological advancements. Through keynote speeches, paper presentations, and interactive sessions, the conference encourages critical reflection on the relevance of these time-tested wisdom traditions. It seeks to bridge ancient wisdom and contemporary research through interdisciplinary approaches that facilitate preservation, documentation, and practical implementation of Bharatiya traditional knowledge.

Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad
IIT Dharwad, established in August 2016 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is located in Dharwad, Karnataka. Spread across nearly 470 acres, it is a hub of cutting-edge research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and industry engagement — offering B.Tech., M.Tech., and Ph.D. programmes across sciences, engineering, and humanities.
Bharatiya Paramparik Gyan Vigyan Samaj (BPGVS)
A national consortium of scholars and visionaries committed to reviving and integrating Bharatiya Traditional Knowledge into contemporary society. Rooted in Sanatana Dharma, BPGVS upholds knowledge acquisition, preservation, and transmission while nurturing young minds and empowering indigenous communities.

Shatavadhani Ganesh
Avadhana Practitioner, Author, Extempore Poet
A renowned polyglot and avadhana practitioner in Sanskrit, Kannada, and Telugu. He has performed over 1,300 avadhanas, is the only Śatāvadhāni from Karnataka, and has authored over 70 books covering Indian culture, art, literature, and traditions.

A world-class scholar and historian of Indian sciences — Sanskrit expert, Vedic teacher, philosopher, and mentor. Through his work at IIT Bombay he integrates science, Sanskrit, and spirituality, aiming to revive India’s legacy in the history of science.
